Norseman Aquavit is a gin-like spirit with a blend of robust and bright botanicals such as caraway, coriander, fennel, star anise, angelica root, and lemon peel. It is matured for six months in charred white oak barrels naturally giving the spirit its distinct auburn-colored hue and further adding to the bold, complex flavor of warm, fresh-from-the-oven rye bread with subtle notes of malt and toasted vanilla. This spirit is often enjoyed as an Old Fashioned or Negroni variant, or sipped neat at room temperature, enjoyed alongside a rich meal. Norseman Aquavit pairs well with potent cheeses, Nordic inspired dishes, roasted potatoes, cream sauces, and even baked apples with brown butter.
