BITTER LIQUEUR

What would a Negroni be without the bitter taste of orange peel and rhubarb root? It wouldn’t be a Negroni, and there would be no point in finishing a cocktail like that. So we made the Norseman Bitter Liqueur. This one is a lovely shade of red with extreme clarity, and the aroma alone is lush with citrus rinds, sharp rhubarb, and fresh herbs. Norseman Bitter Liqueur boasts a candied sweetness with an herbal nose of rosemary and thyme, and the bitterness of rhubarb root follows through in the finish. 

 NEGRONI  25ml Norseman Bitter Liqueur 25ml Sweet Vermouth 50ml Norseman Gin  Build on ice in a low cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange coin.

50ml Norseman Gin

 JASMINE  4ml Rich Simple Syrup* 25ml Norseman Bitter Liqueur 25ml Fresh Lemon Juice 25ml Norseman Orange Liqueur 50ml Norseman Gin  Shake ingredients and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an ice cube.  *Rich Simple Syrup: simmer two parts sugar to one part water until clear. Be careful not to simmer too long or it will crystallize

4ml Rich Simple Syrup*
25ml Norseman Bitter Liqueur
25ml Fresh Lemon Juice
25ml Norseman Orange Liqueur
50ml Norseman Gin

Shake ingredients and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an ice cube.

 AMERICANO  30ml Norseman Bitter 30ml Sweet Vermouth Sparkling Water  Combine ingredients over ice and top with sparkling water.
