What time is last call for ordering cocktails?

Last call for drink orders in the cocktail room is 30 minutes before close.


Are dogs allowed in the cocktail room?

Dogs are not allowed inside the distillery or cocktail room but they are allowed on our patio. Starting this spring we'll have our new outdoor patio daiquiri bar in full swing so get ready to hang and drink amazing daiqs with your best friend!


Yes, children are allowed in the distillery until 8pm but are not permitted to sit at the bar.

Are kids allowed in the distillery?


Do you take large parties?

With notice… Yes, we sure do! Please contact us 24 to 48 hours in advance about our large party rental options for groups over 8. Rentals or advance reservations are required and will ensure adequate space and seating for your guests. For rentals, please email events@norsemandistillery.com with the date, number of guests, time you’re looking to rent space and any other important details.

It is important to note that the distillery is first come, first served. Please be aware that weekends experience a significant increase in volume here at the cocktail room. Groups larger than 8 who do not contact us in advance are not guaranteed service. Depending on our capacity, large parties may also experience increased wait times and/or we may only have standing bar options available without a space rental. We want to give everyone the very best experience and this policy helps us to ensure proper staffing, stock, and space for all.

I lost something...did you find it?


During select hours this spring/summer the new I Heart Tacos food truck will be operating from our lot. The grand opening is on 5/5/19 Cinco De Mayo. Additionally, commercially prepared food from other local vendors is totally allowed and you're welcome to even have food delivered to the space during your time at Norseman.  

Please note that outside beverages are never allowed at the distillery or on the patio as this is against the law and is a liability for us.

What’s the story with food at the distillery?


Can I purchase bottles of alcohol at the distillery?

Yes! We are permitted to sell one 375ml bottle of Norseman spirit to each person per day. We have several products for sale at the distillery but talk to your bartender/server the day of your visit to inquire about what products we have on hand that day for purchase.  

**Purchased bottles can not be consumed on premises.


Yes, but only in a cocktail or a sample pour, not in 375ml bottles yet due to limited quantities. We’ll likely have Norseman Bourbon and Rye available in 375ml bottles for purchase in 2019.

Do you sell your whiskey?


You betcha! Check out our reservations page to sign up for a class, tour, special event or even to purchase gift tours/classes for someone special! You will really enjoy the fun and unique experiences here at the distillery!

Who do I contact about arranging a special event at the distillery?


What is going on with the construction on Taft St.?

The Mid City Reconstruction project is underway and will be completed in early fall. At different points throughout the process, parking and access to Taft St. may be limited at times. For the most up to date information, please click here. As of 5/1/19 Taft is best accessed from Hennepin, guests should turn north on Stinson and access us from Kennedy. Street parking is unfortunately tricky at the moment, LOT PARKING is okay, no street parking Thursday - Mon.
